Anthony Samaniego is a Los Angeles-based digital artist who explores the intersection of spatial memory, ethereal beauty, and the flowing memoirs of the digital space. A graduate of California State University, Northridge with a degree in Economics, Anthony initially worked as an analyst at Warner Brothers before pivoting to visual arts. Through a self-taught regime, he established a successful career as a cinemagraph pioneer and photographer, collaborating with major brands such as Apple, Toyota, and Coachella.
Transitioning from photography to complex 3D procedural workflows, Anthony’s current practice investigates the "uncanny resonance" of familiar spaces. His recent works—such as the digital synthesis of abstracted environments in Déjà Visité, the ethereal transition of a Joshua Tree in Foray, and the volumetric floral memory of Rosé—leverage advanced technologies like 3D Gaussian Splatting (4DGS), Houdini, and TouchDesigner. By reinterpreting real-world inanimate objects and environments, he creates atmospheric, seamless loops that invite viewers into immersive digital memoirs. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at Art Basel Miami, the Bangkok Art Biennale, and Times Square.
